Bell Ringer: A ball is thrown from the ground at a 32 degree angle with horizontal. If the ball travels 52 meters before it hits the ground, at what speed was the ball thrown?

• • Tennis Ball Lab

    • In small groups, decide what information you would need to measure to find the initial velocity of a ball that you will throw

    • Make the measurements that you decided on for each person in the group

    • Calculate the velocity at which you threw the ball, and turn in for credit

  • Work time for chapter 7 homework

  • Students may sign up for a section from the textbook to review on Wednesday for the class to earn some extra credit points
