Bell Ringer: How are force and acceleration related (i.e. If a larger force is applied to an object, how does that affect the object's acceleration?)

• • Have students read pages 398 - 402 and do page 401: 1-4 and page 402: 1-7 (due Tuesday)

  • Show Mythbusters: Penny Drop and have students answer the following questions ON THE SAME PAPER as pages 401 and 402 problems:

    • 1. What does terminal velocity mean?

    • 2. What is a person's terminal velocity? What is a penny's terminal velocity?

    • 3. What factors do the Mythbusters try to account for when performing their tests?
