• • Bell ringer: Why is it important to be able to convert measurements to different types of units? (e.g. convert 15 feet to meters)

  • Intro to unit conversions

    • used to change units on measurements (e.g. feet --> meters)

    • conversion ratio - a number that is used to convert from one unit to another (e.e. multiply feet by 12 to get inches)

  • Measurement units lab (due Tuesday)

  • Discuss factor-label method for converting units

  • Factor-label method practice (due tomorrow)
