Bell Ringer: How is a suspension different from a colloid?

• • In the computer lab, open this site: http://www.chem4kids.com/files/matter_mixture.html

    • Read through the material, then click "Mixtures II" on the right side of the page, near the bottom of the list

    • Read through this material, then click the button at the bottom that says "take quiz on mixtures"

      • Answer each question on the quiz, and write a sentence on a paper to turn in which summarizes the question and answer (e.g. If the questions was "True or false: The Hawkeyes suck." You would write on your paper "The Hawkeyes suck" because it's true)

    • Open this link: http://www.chem4kids.com/files/matter_solution.html

    • Read through the material on solutions, then click the button at the bottom that says "take quiz on solutions"

      • Answer each question on the quiz, and write a sentence on a paper to turn in which summarizes the question and answer (e.g. If the questions was "True or false: The Hawkeyes suck." You would write on your paper "The Hawkeyes suck" because it's true)

  • Turn in your paper when you finish

  • Continue "An Inconvenient Truth"

• Read pages 267-273, do page 273: 1-6 for Monday
