Science fair projects

Eventually, this will have a lot more to it. For now, here's the list of project ideas we came up with:

  • Fuel efficiency w/ different brands of gasoline

  • Rail / coil guns

  • Water quality

  • Gear ratios

  • Efficiency of Bio-diesel

  • Mobiles - better signal, waterproofing, longer batter life

  • Solar energy - focused light on smaller panels?

  • Projectile physics

  • Radio frequency

  • Transducers

  • Mobile generators

And here are the preliminary ideas of what we'll each be doing for our projects:

• • A.J. - rail guns, testing different materials

  • A.W. - water quality from different sources

  • Karen - comparing structures of different hair types

  • Dana - Airsoft ballistics or clocks

  • Eric - coil gun, exponential spacing vs. linear spacing of coils
