Bell Activity: Use your directions from yesterday to recreate your plane.
Paper plane contest
Include with your directions:
Explain, using the properties of fluids in motion, how the shape of your plane affected its performance
Properties of Gases
Expand to fill their container
Spread out and mix easily
Low densities
Can be compressed
Mostly empty space
Exert pressure on their containers
Gas Laws - taking notes from chapter 3, section 4
Read the section (Page 96 - 101)
In your notes, make 3 columns with the headings "Boyle's Law", "Gay-Lussac's Law", and "Charles's Law"
For each law, include the following:
Definition from the book
Definition restated in your own words
Equations (if applicable)
Example of the law at work (real-world example)
Section 4 Review due Monday
