Bell Activity: Use your directions from yesterday to recreate your plane.

    • Paper plane contest

    • Include with your directions:

        • Explain, using the properties of fluids in motion, how the shape of your plane affected its performance

    • Properties of Gases

        • Expand to fill their container

        • Spread out and mix easily

        • Low densities

        • Can be compressed

        • Mostly empty space

        • Exert pressure on their containers

    • Gas Laws - taking notes from chapter 3, section 4

        • Read the section (Page 96 - 101)

        • In your notes, make 3 columns with the headings "Boyle's Law", "Gay-Lussac's Law", and "Charles's Law"

        • For each law, include the following:

            • Definition from the book

            • Definition restated in your own words

            • Equations (if applicable)

            • Example of the law at work (real-world example)

  • Section 4 Review due Monday
