Bell Ringer: What causes an object to accelerate?
As a class, develop and carry out a lab in which we can discover:
What a v vs. t graph looks like for an object that is speeding up
What a v vs. t graph looks like for an object that is slowing down
What a d vs. t graph looks like for an object that is speeding up
What a d vs. t graph looks like for an object that is slowing down
Decision - skateboarder rolling down a hill (speeding up) and skateboarder rolling to a stop on level ground
For homework, use section times and distances to calculate speed for each section
