Bell Activity: What factors influence the speed at which a wave moves?

• • Interference

    • If you can hear a sound, where does that wave have to be? In your ear!

    • If you can hear two sounds, where do they both have to be? In your ear!

    • How can you have two different sounds in the same place at the same time? Because two waves CAN be in the same place at the same time

    • Waves add together when they're in the same place - this is called superposition

  • Waves behave differently from matter, to explore this we will be doing an activity with the wave table

    • All directions should be followed in your notes, so you have them to study from.

    • Your notes will be checked for points, so make sure you're thorough

  • Will be checked on Thursday
