Bell Ringer: Calculate your reaction time using a ruler (explained below)

• • Questions on homework?

    • Reaction time activity

      • Have a partner hold a ruler vertically, with 0 cm at the bottom.

      • Position your fingers to grab the ruler at the 0 cm mark.

      • Your partner will drop the ruler at some point, and you are to catch it as quickly as you can without moving your hand up or down.

      • Record the distance (in cm) that the ruler fell before you grabbed it

      • Use this information to calculate your reaction time

• Acceleration of gravity lab

  • • Work in groups of 3-4

    • Full lab write-up due Wednesday

    • Write-up should be in order, neat, clean, and stapled together
