  • If students did not do the distance and displacement worksheet yesterday due to lack of time, have them start with that (I am attaching that worksheet again, in case it did not get printed yesterday)

• As a group (in the same style as you did with global science), outline chapter 11, section 2 in the physical science book (pages 332-337). Please emphasize that the key difference between speed and velocity is that a statement of velocity includes the direction of travel, and a statement of speed does not (e.g. 25 mph is a speed, 25 mph to the North is a velocity)

• When you have all finished outlining have students do page 337: 1-9. This is their homework if they do not finish in class.
