    • Bell Ringer: How will you study for tomorrow's test?

    • Students will answer the bell ringer on paper for first 5-8 minutes of class. Afterward, call on students to answer the question out loud. Get 5 or 6 responses, and move on.

    • Tell student's we'll be playing review Jeopardy for some extra points on their test. Count off students by 3's to get them into 3 even groups. Have each group gather in separate areas of the room.

    • Read them the following rules for Jeopardy:

        • Points are awarded according to the final score of each team. For every 50 points a team has, each member of that team will earn 1 extra point on their test.

        • The winner of the previous question gets to pick the category and point value of the next question

        • Anybody can "buzz in" (raise their hand) to answer, but they must wait until they are called on to answer and will have 5 seconds to answer after buzzing in. If a student buzzes in, they must answer and may not have a team member answer for them.

        • No points will be lost for incorrect answers

        • Textbooks, notes, and calculators are allowed and encouraged.

        • The teacher is the judge of what is a correct answer and who buzzed in first

        • For final jeopardy, each team needs to turn in a piece of paper with each of their names, their wager, and their answer to the question before the answer is revealed.

      • The teacher picks the first category

    • Play through the game, using this answer list to check their responses. At the end, collect the pieces of paper and write their final scores on each. Leave these for me so I can assign points.

  • After Jeopardy, they can have the rest of the block as work time for their review assignment. Each student is to pick 20 problems from pages 70 and 71 in the textbook to answer and turn in tomorrow. To receive credit, they must WRITE THE QUESTION AND ANSWER TO EVERY PROBLEM. This will make these reviews more useful when it comes time to study for the final exam.
