Bell Ringer: A 95 kg cheetah is running with a momentum of 8600 kg*m/s. How fast is it running?

    • Launch rockets

    • Rocket assignment

      1. Gather the times people measured for how long it took for your rocket to fall to the ground. Find the average of those times.

      2. Using vf = vi + at, calculate the final velocity of the rocket (velocity when it hits the ground)

      3. Measure the mass of your rocket. Use the mass and velocity to calculate the momentum of the rocket when it hit the ground.
